A Great Result - Mowbray

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray described his side's 6-0 win against Bury as a great result.

Mowbray told the Press Association:  "The talking had to stop.

"I could sense a real urgency about the team when we met before the game and a sense of responsibility that we had to get back on our horse and start riding fast again. They did exactly that.

"It's a great result. Confidence is a massive thing in football and after a few defeats the messages you give in training don't stick quite as much.

"I truly believe it's about footballers being in the right positions and doing their jobs but we have to keep the work going and look forward to the next game.

"I thought Bury had come to block it up when I saw their line-up but I could sense our adrenaline and I could sense our intensity before the game to go and perform, and that's what we did.

"It's important that goals come from everywhere and we had a few out there today."
