Adam Armstrong has said that he felt he had a great debut after scoring the goals in Coventry City's 2-0 win against Wigan Athletic.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, The loanee from Newcastle United said:“It was a great debut and as soon as I turned up at the stadium I knew it was going to be a big day for me.
“All I wanted was the three points and we did that today. It was a brilliant atmosphere and some good football on the pitch which hopefully pleased the supporters.
“We knew Wigan were going to be a good side but I thought we out battled them all over the pitch to take a deserved win.”
