A Gray Day For City

Coventry City winger Julian Gray is out for up to two weeks after a scan revealed he picked up knee ligament damage during City's 2-1 win over Preston North End.

Said Iain Dowie to the club website: >"It's a blow to lose Julian because he has played well this season," said Dowie. "He's given us a lot of width down the left and has managed to get in around 13-14 decent crosses per game.

"It's a ligament injury so you are never quite sure how long it will take, although I would say he is touch-and-go for the Ipswich game next weekend."

Gray will miss the game against Bristol City on Saturday and the game against former club Crystal Palace on Tuesday.

Arjan De Zeeuw, Kevin Kyle, Colin Hawkins and Kevin Thornton all trained this morning and there was more good news that Michael Hughes, Leon Best and David McNamee are close to making a return to training.
