Coventry City manager Andy Thorn said that it was a good test of his side against Reading today.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player: "Going into the game today with Reading flying high we knew it would be a good test for us and it was.

"We feel we want to pit our wits against the best teams, Brian McDermott is a good manager and I wish Reading all the best in the play-offs.

"I thought we coped with them admirably. It's the first time we haven't scored since we took charge but it was an all round entertaining game with some really good football played.

"Young Quirky did well. He was very confident, he kicked well and pulled off a couple of cracking saves in the first half. But we had some good chances as well, we got in there a few times and their keeper pulled off some good saves as well."
