Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he had a good meeting with Tottenham Hotspur about developing an on-going relationship, which could include a friendly at Spurs training ground.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I had a three-hour meeting with one football club about their young players and building relationships.

“We talked about developing relationships where they might bring some players up to our training ground and we might go down and play their team on their training ground,” revealed Mowbray.

“But those sorts of relationships are going to be healthy. We need to progress to the point where we don’t want to feed, but use each other as a vehicle so we use their young players and it benefits both. At this moment in this club’s history that’s where we are.”
