Gary Madine felt that Coventry City's first win at Port Vale in a league game since April 1960, was a good away performance.
Speaking to Matt Joyce, Madine said: "It was a good away performance.
It's a valuable three points and we all dug in.
"Football is full of highs and lows, I spent 90 minutes sulking and whinging at my team-mates for hitting the ball in the corners and me having to run after it all day! But I was rewarded with the goal and I went into the dressing room to apologise to the lads, but they've all come over laughing so they are happy for me!"
