Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that the Sky Blues will be desperate to beat Cardiff City in the League Cup First Round tie at Sixfields.
City take on the South Wales side who were the highest ranked team in the competition on August 12th or 13th subject to the demands of television and the City boss told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner:"In terms of the potential size of the clubs we could have drawn, it was probably on paper the hardest draw we could have had.
"But in terms of the game, it is a very exciting match and one that, at home, we have to belive we can win because the Capital One Cup is a competition i want to see us progress in andl although it will be a difficult game it will be one we will be desperate to win."
