A Game To Make Up For - McGoldrick

David McGoldrick wants his final appearance in a City shirt this afternoon against Shrewsbury Town to make up for the 4-1 defeat at the Greenhous Meadow back in September, which for many City supporters was the lowest point in their City supporting lives.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, McGoldrick said: “That was our worst performance of the season, in fact, it was one of the worst days in my career.

“Nothing went right from the first minute and if I’d have been one of the Shrewsbury players I’d have come off the pitch saying ‘Coventry are rubbish’ because we were – all of us, including me.

“I want to make amends, prove to them that we are good players. And I hope our fans aren’t all hung over from New Year and there will be a big crowd there to support us.”
