Coventry City manager Andy Thorn felt the 1-1 draw at Leeds United on Tuesday night was a fantastic result for the club.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn, who had a fourteen minute chorus of "Andy Thorn's Sky Blue Army"  from the City supporters in the right of the Elland Road Main Stand, said: "This is a fantastic result for the club and for morale and belief in what we are doing.

"It felt like a win after the game because we felt we'd earned the right to share the points and we got our just rewards.

"We tried to get a foothold in the game in the first half and I thought in the second half we were by far the better team. I said to the boys at half time that it was important that we kept doing what we had been doing and what we believed in.

"Some of our play in the second half was fantastic, the way we moved the ball around, and it was probably some of the best football we have played since I've been in charge.

"The young boys as well were exceptional tonight. It was important that what happened at Ipswich didn't happen here and it didn't. I couldn't fault any of the lads tonight, I thought they were fantastic."
