Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that the visit of Blackpool ot the Ricoh Arena is part of a week for the Sky Blues.

"We have played 27 games so there are still a lot of points to play for in what is a big season for us, it really is," said Chris Coleman to the CT's Andy Turner. "We have not promised play-offs or anything like that, but for us to finish in the top half and finish strong is very important for us.

"You go on little runs and if you lose one in eight, which was at Watford on a pitch that should have been called off, shows the guys have been at it at a time when we have not had our strongest squad. So that's really pleasing but, we must keep that going. We have got a great attitude at the moment and the lads don't like losing.

"It is a shame that we didn't win on Saturday because we were so close and that extra two points would have been back to back wins for us going into a home game against Blackpool.

"But it was a great performance and we have to keep that going and if we can get three points we are clawing slowly into the right half of the table and that's with loads of injuries.

"So it is a big week for us this week and we can't lose anyone else, of course, in terms of defenders and if we can bring a few faces in, great.

"I have been working with the chairman to bring in a few loan signings, even if it is just for a month to get us through."
