Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has been fined the sum of £5,000 for breaching rule E3 (improper conduct) by the FA.

Coleman had a bit of a spat with referee Phil Dowd during the Sky Blues 3-0 home defeat to Bristol City and appeared before an FA Disciplinary Committee on August 27th.

The City boss admitted the charge and has been fined but not given a touchline ban.

Referee Phil Dowd, who had a poor game with decisions that bewldered both sets of players and supporters, is allowed to continue without a stain on his character.
