3.38 For Kilbane In London Marathon

Former Coventry City midfielder Kevin Kilbane completed the London Marathon this morning.

The former Republic Of Ireland international, running to raise funds for the Downs Syndrome Association finished the race in 3.38.58 which gave him a finish place of 3.224.

Former Coventry City Ladies defender Natalie Wilcox completed the race in 3.58.50 and finished 1694th.

The mens race was won by Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge who finished in 2.04.42 with fellow Kenyan Tigist Tufa taking the women's race in 2.23.22.

American Joshua George won the wheelchair race in 1.31.31

The first Cov male home was Scott Hazel of Coventry Godiva, who finished in 64th place in a time of 2:30:31

The first Cov woman home was Amy Burdie of Northbrook AC who finished in 3.39.22.
