£275,000 In Agents Fees For City

Former Coventry City manager Iain Dowie might not have had the money he was promised but he still spend £275,000 on agents fees, according to a Football League report issued yesterday.

From July 01 to Dec 31 2007, City were involved in 29 transactions which eighteen new player registrations/ transfers, eight up dated contracts, one cancelled contract and five loans.

The £275,000 spent on agents fees was up from £216,250 for the same period, the year before.

Football League clubs paid £7.9m on agents fees. Leicester spent the most in the Championship at £1,067,084 with Stoke second paying £931,000.
