Plymouth Argyle make their first visit to the Ricoh Arena for a JPT game on Wednesday night but Coventry City have played Plymouth Argyle in Coventry on twenty two previous occasions.

Coventry City have won eleven of those meetings and drawn six, scoring 37 goals to the Pilgrims 23.

City's biggest win in Coventry against Plymouth was a 5-1 victory on January 15th 1956 and their heaviest defeat was two 4-1 defeats in April 1929 and February 1957.

In their previous five visits to the Ricoh Arena, Plymouth have won twice, lost twice and drawn once in their last visit on March 13th 2010.

That game saw Michael McIndoe give City a 48th minute equaliser to cancel out  Kari Arnason’s goal in first half stoppage time.
