£1m Up Front Bid For Eastwood

Coventry City are to bid £1m up front to secure the services of Freddie Eastwood.

Chris Coleman has made the Wolves striker close to the top of his wish list buy and tried to take the Welshman on loan before the loan transfer window closed.

Despite the interest of other clubs including Derby and Palace, City will according to media reports bid £1m up front for Eastwood and then pay another £500k based on agreed number of appearances and goals.

There has been no mention of Kevin Kyle, who had been on loan at Wolves this season, being used in any deal and Chris Coleman is expected to make a decision about the striker who is loved by some and hated by others amongst sections of the Sky Blue support.
