£15 is More Than Plenty

Dear Sir,

I note with concern from the SCG Meeting minutes of the lack of consultation by Coventry City with supporters over season ticket and match ticket prices for next season.

Not wishing to have a go but Wasps have been consulting people who have bought a ticket for their matches, so why haven't the Sky Blues?

You only had to look at the crowds at the Ricoh Arena since City moved back to see that the current prices of £22, plus the expense of actually getting to the Ricoh, parking etc, for what has been on offer, is far too much.

For what its worth, I reckon if the club are planning on charging adult season ticket holders £15 a game why not make it £15 per game for all adults in a bid to attract more supporters and attract a few more away supporters as well.

The club could then say that if crowds have not reached a certain level, say an average of ten thousand, by Christmas then they will increase to say £18 which will still be amongst the cheapest in the division.

Surely, it has got to be worth a go?
