Last updated : 24 March 2006 By Covsupport

Coventry City have proved in the last two home games they can deal with the promotion contenders but can they cut it when they travel to bottom side Crewe Alexandra?

Dennis Wise is again out of contention as he serves the second game of a two match suspension. Richard Duffy could be available after coming through a reserve game unscathed.

Crewe who are only in this division, thanks to the generosity of the Sky Blues are in a sorry state at the bottom of the table, some eleven points away from safety. Dario Gradi's side are without Gary Roberts who has not recovered from a back injury and keeper Ben Williams has an illness.

Earlier in the season, Crewe snatched a 1-1 draw with Luke Rogers scoring five minutes into stoppage time. Our last two trips to Gresty Road have brought defeat Last season, City lost 2-1 and it was 3-1 the season before. Referee for this game is Martin Atkinson who was in charge of City's 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.

The temperature at kick off time is expected to be nine degrees.
