Sky Blues On The Road - Wolves

Last updated : 07 April 2006 By Covsupport

Coventry City head up the M6 to face Wolves at Molineux.

Following back to back defeats against Crewe and Preston, Micky Adams has admitted that it is time to plan for next season. Kevin Thornton and Matt Heath could be the likely candidates to feature. Thornton had a fine game for the reserves on Monday whilst Heath appears to have impressed the City boss in training ahead of former Wolves player Adie Williams.

Stuart Giddings and Stephen Hughes may feature after coming through the reserves.

For Wolves, who are seventh in the table, this is a game they must win in order to maintain their push for that final play-off berth. Glen Hoddle is without the suspended Kenny Miller but Lee Naylor has recovered from a badly bruised shin.

This is the 57th meeting between the two sides. City won 2-0 at home earlier this season and won 1-0 last season at Molineux. City have won 26 with twelve draws. The referee is Dermot Gallagher from Oxfordshire.

You can pay on the turnstiles. City fans are in the Steve Bull Stand Lower Tier. Tickets can be bought from Block 3. Expect to pay the most this season. The adult price is £27.

You are advised to watch out for the policing at Wolves which is amongst the worst in the country.
