Three games to go for the Sky Blues and Micky Adams is not feeling the pressure as City head off the West County on St George’s Day to face Plymouth Argyle at Home Park.

Adams told the CET: "It would be nice to get the points before the last game at Highfield Road but I don't think there is any pressure and I don't even feel under any," said Adams who has taken great confidence from recent performances.

"I don't think the players are showing any signs of the strain but if we can get the job done on Saturday, fantastic. But I am not worried whether we get three points at Plymouth. In an ideal world I would like get the win and we will go there like we have been to every game and try to win it. "I am not like some managers who might go and play 4-5-1 to get a result. We will play 4-4-2 and go and have a go at them and try to beat them."

He should have skipper Stephen Hughes available. A bruised knee has kept the influential midfielder out of the matches with West Ham and Wolves. Isaac Osbourne is definitely out with an ankle problem.

No new injuries have been reported and the City manager is likely to keep faith with those who featured in last Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Wolves.

Plymouth Argyle boss Bobby Williamson is expected to welcome back former Sky Blue Bjarni Gudjonsson. The Icelander found himself with no future at Highfield Road under Peter Reid and opted to try his luck at Home Park and has been out recently with a thigh strain.

Also appearing for the Pilgrims will be Cov kid and City fan Luke McCormick in goal. 21 year old McCormick, another player missed by Sky Blue scouts, said to This Is Plymouth: "It will be very strange for me, but I'm sure it would have been even stranger had it actually been at Highfield Road.

With the loan spell of Jason Dodd having ended, Plymouth are expected to have defenders Paul Connolly and Peter Gilbert back in contention.

Referee for the game which kicks off at 3pm is L. Probert from Gloucestershire.

Tickets are available priced at adults £20, OAP/Student £13 and £5 child. Disabled free helper £20.

This game has been nominated as Flag Day and City supporters are asked to take bring their flags.
