WHO ARE THEY?
Nicknamed The Yeltz, Halesowen Town play their home games at The Grove and play in the Southern League Premier Division. They were formed in 1873 and have twice won the FA Vase as well as losing one final in 1983 to VS Rugby.

RECENT FORM
City drew 1-1 at Portland Timbers and beat BYU Cougars 3-0 and 10-0. Halesowen lost 4-0 at home to Walsall in their first friendly.
City played Halesowen Town in a friendly at Highfield Road in August 1990 and lost 1-0. The earliest game between the two sides we reckon was in October 1893 when Singers won 1-0 in a Birmingham Senior Cup tie.

Although this game has been downgraded to a a squad game, Micky Adams and Alan Cork will field a team of first teamers and reserves. Stern John,Robert Page and Wayne Andrews not likely to feature.

HOW TO GET THERE

By Road
Get off at Junction 3 of the M5. Head towards Kidderminster on the A456. Turn right on to the A459 towards Dudley and continue past where the road splits to the next island. Turn left here on to the A458 towards Stourbridge until you get to the next island. Take the third exit (Old Hawne Lane) and the ground is about 400 yards away.

On Public transport.
Train to Birmingham New Street, then walk to Colmore Row and get a number nine bus heading for Stourbridge, departing 17:51,18:06,18:12, 18:25,18:34,18:50. The bus will got through Halesowen town centre and once on the A458 Stourbridge Road, you will see the ground on your right.
There is a return bus at 21.53.
