WHO ARE THEY?
Formed out of the Riverside Cricket club in 1899, Cardiff was awarded City status in 1905 and Riverside were granted permission to call themselves Cardiff City in 1908,they turned professional in 1910. They are the only side outside England to have won the FA Cup in 1927 and have won the Welsh Cup some 22 times.

A number of former Cardiff managers will be well known to City supporters. Terry Yorath,Phil Neal,Bobby Gould,Alan Cork and current boss David Jones have all played for or been involved in managing the Sky Blues.

RECENT FORM
City beat Sunderland 2-1 but lost to Southampton on Wednesday.Cardiff drew 1-1 at home to West Brom on Tuesday night.

This will be the 37th game between the two sides. Coventry have won on seventeen occasions with seven draws. The last game saw a 3-1 win for the Sky Blues at the Arena on April 30th 2006. Earlier in the season,the sides drew 0-0 at Ninian Park.

Stuart Giddings has a hamstring injury,Mikkel Bischoff an ankle injury and
Wayne Andrews has a severely sprained ankle. Robert Page won't play against his former club due to a back injury.

Cardiff, who are unbeaten so far this season, don't have any new injury worries. Darren Purse may return and former Sky Blue Wilo Flood may get a debut at the expense of Paul Parry.

M4. Exit at junction 33 and follow Penarth (A4232) signs. After six miles,take the B4267 to Ninian Park.

Train station - Cardiff Central one mile
Coaches from the Arena will leave from Car Park C at 11am (not 10 am as mentioned on the club website.) There is free parking for those using the coach in this car park.
