Sent To Coventry - Reading

High flying Reading visit Highfield Road in a Championship match tomorrow. Without a league win since the sale of Calum Davenport to Tottenham, Peter Reid is hoping that any protests from the long suffering supporters can be diverted with a victory.

Conceding sloppy goals has been a major problem for the Sky Blues defence this season and the City manager has brought in Bolton central defender Floren Laville on a months loan.

The 31 year old has been added to the squad which be without Graham Barrett (calf injury).

Steve Stanton is back after his suspension, but Reid may stick with Stuart Giddings who had a fine game in the midweek 3-0 defeat at Middlesbrough. Stern John is also likely to play after being "rested".

Reading boss Steve Coppell is likely to keep faith with the team that beat Crewe 4-0 last Saturday. Dave Kitson is expected to be fit after recovering from a back/hip injury but Shaun Goater and Nicky Forster are definitely out.

Tickets are still available.

City U18’s face a trip to Cardiff City. On Sunday, Coventry City Ladies travel to Wolves for a WPL Northern Division fixture with City Ladies Reserves trying to make up for League Cup defeat at holders Birmingham City by beating Blackburn Rovers at home.
