Coventry City Ladies are determined to make the most of their first ever appearance in the Birmingham County FA Cup Final on Sunday.

Mark Phillips' side have thrashed all before them, beating Warwickshire based Leamington Lions (11-0), Rugby Town (9-0) before knocking out Black Country opponents Bustleholme (9-1) and West Bromwich Albion (7-1).

However, they now face the prospect of a thrashing in the Final from a Birmingham City side likely to contain eleven international players and including Rachel Yankey who scored for England last week in a tournament in the Algarve.

The City players will be meeting for a pre-game meal and then
travelling on the Coventry City FC team coach to the County FA ground at Ray Hall Lane in Great Barr, Birmingham for the 2pm kick off.

Coventry will be without Katy Ward.Steph Samuels and Michelle Archer who are all cup-tied.
