ON THE GAME
Eric Black said "It's always a special occasion for a player to go back to his former club, but even more so when you were so highly regarded. It'll be my first visit to Coventry in an official capacity since being sacked, so they'll probably boo me!. "But knowing the type of character Gary is, I don't think it'll detract from his performance at all. If anything, I think it would enhance it.

"He'll get a very good reception in my opinion. A lot of players don't feel comfortable about going back to their old clubs so quickly - but for some it lifts their performance. If I were putting any money on it, I'd bet that Gary would respond to that. He wants to do his job well and he's ambitious."
