Coming To Cov - Sheffield Wednesday

After the defeat at Watford, City will be looking to bounce back as they face Sheffield Wednesday at the Arena (Kick off 7.45pm). Richard Shaw is highly doubtful for the game after injuring his neck during Saturday’s defeat at Watford. James Scowcroft who missed Saturday’s game is suspended but Stern John is back in contention.

Wednesday boss Paul Sturrock will be without Deon Burton who has a hamstring injury but Graham Coughlan should be fit. Glenn Whelan is back from suspension but former Sky blue Richie Partridge is not likely to feature.

This is the 74th meeting between the two clubs. City have won 27 and drawn on twenty occasions. Earlier in the season, City lost 3-2 at Hillsborough. Tickets are available.
