City Reserves V West Ham Preview

Coventry City play their final home game of the season tonight at Highfield Road against West Ham United.

Alan Cork’s team will be changed from the side which drew with Fulham last Monday as Graham Barrett has been loaned out to Sheffield Wednesday as has Craig Pead who is currently at Walsall.

Jonny Tuffey who made his first team debut in the testimonial match at Worcester should start in goal as Adams will be reluctant to let Kevin Pressman play ahead of the visit of Brighton on Saturday.

Andy Hall, Shaun Cooney, Andy Whing and Liam Nicell should make up the defence with Andy Morrell, Eddy Johnson and Neil Wood all featuring.

Now not having played much over the last six months, giving Shaun Goater a run-out makes sense, but this is Coventry City we are on about, so Goater and Lloyd Dyer who has joined on loan from West Brom may not be involved.

West Ham sending a strong side for their last ever visit to Highfield Road. Scottish international Christian Dailly returns after seven months out with a knee injury to a strong Hammers side which includes Luke Chadwick and Steve Lomas.

On the bench for the Hammers is Danny Bunce who played for City Reserves in a 3-0 defeat at Crystal Palace last month.

Kick off for the last ever reserve team game at Highfield Road is at 7pm and season ticket holders get in free.
