City Reserves V Chelsea Reserves Preview

Alan Cork’s team look to bounce back after the 3-0 defeat at Crystal Palace with a victory against a youthful Chelsea team tonight at Nuneaton Borough.

Cork will be without Jonny Tuffey who was in goal for the Palace defeat as the Academy captain is on international duty with Northern Ireland U19’s who face Scotland tonight at Glentoran’s Oval ground. Cameron Belford is given his reserve team debut.  start.

Andy Hall and Sean Cooney have both recovered from injuries and are named in a young City side.

Chelsea boss Mick McGiven has four players away with the first team in Barcelona for the Champions League clash and gives a start to 17 year old keeper James Russell.

Sam Tillen will return at left back and Anthony Grant has recovered from mumps and has been named.

The game will be live on Chelsea TV starting from 6.30pm with kick off at Manor Park at 7pm.
