Specials Drummer John (Brad) Bradbury has sadly passed away today.
The Coventry born drummer of The Specials and former employee at Virgin Records came into the Specials in the late 1970's and was with the band when they reformed in 2009.
He was a member of the Special AKA which had a top ten hit with "Free Nelson Mandela" and The Specials released this statement via Twitter this afternoon: "It is with deep regret that we say goodbye to our great friend, the world's greatest drummer, our beloved Brad. RIP."
John was 62 and had been based in London for a number of years.
