Celebrity Antiques Road Trip

Celebrity Antiques Road Trip came to the Coventry Music Museum last week and filmed a section for their forthcoming series. The BBC2 show two pairs of antiques experts and two celebrities against each other, who scour the country in classic cars looking for collectable bygones to take to auction to raise money for the celebrity’s charities.

The team who visited the museum were comedian & writer Steven Punt and the expert was Christina Trevinon, who joined Curator Pete Chambers as they discussed 2-Tone and Coventry music, they also got to go into The Rude Boys Bedroom.

 

Director Julie Chambers said, “It was a great day, especially watching how it was all put together, everyone was so nice and they all loved the museum”.

 

The episode should air in the autumn.

 

The Coventry Music Museum on Ball Hill Coventry is open 10am to 4pm on Thursday to Sunday. The Museum has just launched a new website at www.covmm.co.uk
