Wesley Kreder Wins Ster ZLM Toer Stage Two

Wesley Kreder of Roompot has won the second stage of the Ster ZLM Toer.

A 186km stage which started and finished in Oss saw four riders in Twane Vandenbrand, Jasper Hamelink, Merjin Korevaar and Wesley Kreder in a break which got five minutes clear.

With 88kms gone, they were four minutes ahead before dropping to 1,45 with less than forty kilometres to go and 1.40 with a lap to go.

The peloton got to within 45 seconds and Hamelink dropped back to the chasing group but the three out front held firm and Wesley Kreder took the win in 4:15:02 ahead of Vandebrand and Korevaar with Andre Greipel leading home the peloton in fourth place.
