Warwickshire County Cricket Cricket Club's Will Porterfield made 112 for Ireland and Boyd Rankin took four wickets for England in the One Day international in Malahide, Dublin.
Ireland batted first and had Will Porterfield hit 112 including one six and fourteen fours from 142 balls before he was bowled by fellow Warwickshire player Boyd Rankin, who took four wickets on his England debut.
Ireland made 269-7 from their fifty overs but an unbeaten 124 from Eoin Morgan and 101 from Ravi Bopara gave England a six wicket win with 4 balls remaining.
