Coventry District Cricket Board Under-19`s hosted the Warwickshire
Cricket League Under-19`s at Bablake Old Boys for the Ian Pugh Shield.
WCL Captain Ryan Parnell (Bedworth) won the toss and put the CDCB team into bat and,in their 45overs they scored 232-9 wkts the main
contributor being Ross Arnold with a fine 67 with supporting roles
from Aaron Lewis (29) and Adam Hill (25).
In reply,the WCL side,after losing early wickets got home with 3.5
overs to spare thanks to contributions from Jonathan Wigley (Southam) of 41 and Jordan Calcutt,also from Southam with 27.
The main contributors came from an unbroken 8th wicket partnership of 53 from the Streetly pairing of James Hunt (77no) and Ben Griffiths (23no) with Tom Yardley taking 3-36 in his 9 overs.
Ian Pugh presented the Shield to the winning Captain,Ryan Parnell.
