Kings Heath remain top of the Premier this week with 24 Points at Four Oaks Saints G Shepherd and S Shepherd 87 and 54 respectively doing the damage in a match dominated by the batsmen with 9 wickets falling all day for 443 runs, the sun must have come out !. Handsworth keep up the pressure R.Hooper 141 in their score of246 for 5 proving too much for Highway in Hinstock Park. Nuneaton 3rd kept the pressure on with their win at Solihull Blossemfield.

In the 3rd Division Corley look like the side to beat, now with 3 wins and 2 winning draws from 5 outings, Five ways today's victims Corley knocking off 179 for 4, but if you want a close run division look at Division 4, here Dunlop are leaders, 1 point ahead of Wolvey, with Aston, Cov and NW Colliery and Wilnecote all in the mix. The top 2 remained top despite both being on the wrong end of the results on the day, Dunlop losing to Wilnecote and Wolvey only a losing draw at Coventry Colliery

A loss too for Small Heath BC, Attelborough defeating them by Five wickets with Luke Russel one of many centurions in the WCL this week, which allowed Old Eds 3rds and Attock 3rds to go above them tonight in the 3rd XIO and ST Premier. Azam staked a claim for player of the day with a 6 for 7 bowling blitz then 46 not out batting as Old Eds 3rds beat Sutton Coldfield 3rds by 8 wickets. Attock lost 3 points on their rivals with a 17 point winning draw as Willclare hung on 7 down. No one however as taken decisive control of the division with the top 3 separated by only 4 points. A mention to some new clubs. Lordswood got off the mark with a win at Atherstonwe 3rds, just, a thriller going down to the wire with a 4 run victory defending 114 all out (3rd XI and ST 1E), MEB made it 2 wins and go joint top of Division 2 West of the 3rd XI and ST league defeating M & B despite only 100 on the board, this time by 15 runs.

In general when the sun come out the batsman have an easier time and this week the best performance show James Brain with 164 for Bronze against Barby in Division 1, not bad in a team score of 251 for 4, but the pitch proved a batting paradise and Barby accounted themselves well to get to 217 for 9 and a draw. There were also several team scores over 300, as well as Berkswell 3rds, Four Oaks Saints 4ths,achieved this feat, and lost !, Nuneaton 4ths knocking off the runs for 5 down, Pak Stars (winners this time), also joining the 300 club with 306 for 9 against Copsewood
