Lordswood got off the mark with a win at Atherstonwe 3rds, just, a thriller going down to the wire with a 4 run victory defending 114 all out (3rd XI and ST 1E), MEB made it 2 wins and go joint top of Division 2 West of the 3rd XI and ST league defeating M & B despite only 100 on the board, this time by 15 runs.
In general when the sun come out the batsman have an easier time and this week the best performance show James Brain with 164 for Bronze against Barby in Division 1, not bad in a team score of 251 for 4, but the pitch proved a batting paradise and Barby accounted themselves well to get to 217 for 9 and a draw. There were also several team scores over 300, as well as Berkswell 3rds, Four Oaks Saints 4ths,achieved this feat, and lost !, Nuneaton 4ths knocking off the runs for 5 down, Pak Stars (winners this time), also joining the 300 club with 306 for 9 against Copsewood
