Kyle Coetzer top scored with 33 but with three wickets for Stefan Piolet and braces for Chris Woakes and Boyd Rankin saw Northamptonshire all out for 111.
Will Porterfield hit 26 for Warwicks and Rikki Clarke scored 36 as Warwicks reached the total with three balls to spare.
