Warwicks Skittle Notts Out And Then Struggle

County Champions Warwickshire County Cricket Club bowled Nottinghamshire out for 155 and then struggled at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

Warwicks won the toss and put the home side into bat. Chris Woakes had Kesall out with a run on the scoresheet and Woakes, Barker, and Chris Wright who took 4-28, took a steady stream of wickets to Notts at 68-5.

Paul Franks hit 44 but Wright was able to mop up the tail and Notts were all out for 155.

When Warwicks batted, they struggled to get going. Ian Westwood went for one, Varun Chopra sixteen, Jim Troughton ten, Darren Maddy 41 and Richard Johnson 22 as they ended the day on 139-6, some sixteen runs behind.
