Warwickshire County Cricket Club were set a target of 515 to win by Somerset on Day Three of their County Championship game at Taunton.

Resuming on 46-1, Chris Wright had Leach trapped lbw after four runs had been added, but a partnership from Nick Compton and Alviro Petersen put on 68.

Chris Woakes trapped Petersen who made 43 lbw and also did the same for James Hildreth but Compton who hit a superb unbeaten 105 and Chris Kieswetter who also not out on 59 saw Somerset declare on 266-4.

This meant Warwicks needed a massive 515 to win. Varun Chopra, who ended the day on 81 not out and Will Porterfield put on 108 for the first wicket which came when the Irish international was caught by Buttler off the bowling of Leach.

Chopra and Jim Troughton added thirty more runs but Troughton was trapped lbw by Leach

Ateeq Javid came in and face the two balls and on the second he gave a catch to Buttler to give Leach his third wicket.

Warwicks closed on 144-3, some 371 runs off a victory.
