Warwicks Let Notts Off The Hook

Warwickshire County Cricket let Nottinghamshire back in to the game on the second day of their County Championship match at Trent Bridge.

Warwicks had Notts at 14-3 at stumps on Tuesday night but when play started on Wednesday, Nottinghamshire were allowed to pass Warwicks first innings score of 298 by making 359 before they were skittled out.

Samit Patal was the biggest threat hitting 117 before he was caught by Piolet and he was assisted by Rikki Wessels who made 77 before being run out by Chris Woakes and tailender Andre Adams who made 46. 

When Warwicks started their second innings, they closed on 27-2 with Ian Westwood bowled by Fletcher for two and Varun Chopra out for seven after being trapped lbw by Adams.
