Warwicks Heading For Defeat

Warwickshire County Cricket Club are heading for defeat after leaving Nottinghamshire only 210 to win on the final day of their County Championship game at Trent Bridge.

Resuming on day three on 27-2, Laurie Evans and Ateeq Javid moved Warwicks score on to 81 before Javid was caught by Read.

Chris Woakes came in and made 23 before being bowled by Patal. Laurie Evans, then went for 63 from 126 balls, Piolet went for thirty before Keith Barker was caught by Chris Read which gave him the record of catches in first class matches for a Nottinghamshire wicketkeeper.

Jeetan Patal could only add sixteen before Darren Maddy who had made 65 was out, trapped lbw by Luke Fletcher.

Maurice Chambers had made four runs when he become Luke Fletcher's fifth victim and Warwicks were all out for 271 in 108.3 overs, leaving Nottinghamshire 210 to win on the final day.
