Warwickshire County Cricket Club forced Marylebone Cricket Club to follow on but were unable to bowl them out on the third day of their Champions County Match in Abu Dhabi.

The MCC resumed on 73/7 and although Joe Denly made 47 before he was trapped lbw by Oliver Hannon-Dalby and James Middlebrook made an unbeaten 29, the MCC were all out for 130 with Chris Wright record figures of 5-35 and Hannon-Dalby 3-30.

The follow on was enforced but this time, the MCC offered more resistance after Paul Best had Jimmy Adams caught after he had made four.

Northeast hit 89 before being caught by Hannon-Dalby off the bowling of Wright whilst at the other end, Joe Denly went on to hit an unbeaten 119.

The MCC lost Benkenstein and Malan cheaply but closed on 308-4 with Peter Trego 57 not out.
