Warwickshire County Cricket Club bowled for the opening sixty overs in their two day friendly against Gloucestershire at Edgbaston.
The visitors closed on 205-8 after their sixty overs with Thomason taking 3-40, Paul Best 2-43, Reccordo Gordon 2-37 and Chris Wright 1-45.
When they did bat, Warwicks who included Jonathan Trott in their side ended the day on 112-2. Varun Chopra hit 47 before losing his wicket and Trott made four with Laurie Evans 41 not out and Will Porterfield nine not out.
