Warwickshire County Cricket Club were beaten by eleven runs on the third day of their County Championship game against Durham at Chester Le Street.
Warwicks took the remaining wickets of Wood and Rushworth to see Durham all out for 267.
This left Warwicks 257 to win but Chopra (18) and Porterfield (0), were out with only 26 runs on the board.
Thirty more runs were added before Jim Troughton was caught by Stokes after making thirteen.
Ian Westwood made 21 and Tim Ambrose added a rapid 46 but that was five wickets down for 127.
Rikki Clarke could score only four and Keith Barker thirteen before Ateeq Javid, who made 44 and Jeetan Patal, who reached his half century, had a partnership of 82 runs.
That left Warwicks needing twenty two to win wth one wicket in hand. Eleven runs were knocked off that total but Boyd Rankin who had face three balls was trapped lbw by Stokes and Warwicks were all out for 245 and an eleven run defeat.
