Warwickshire County Cricket Club won by seven wickets in a Pro40 game against Durham.

Durham batted first at a very windy Edgbaston and Warwicks included Keith Barker and Stefan Piolet who had played in Warwicks second eleven's win at Binley Road over Yorkshire on Friday,

Piolet took the first catch of Coetzer to leave Durham on 22-1. Miller was the bowler and he took a second to remove Mustard for 13.

Stokes and Muchall moved the score on for Durham. Their fifty partnership came in the 15th over and Stokes passed the fifty mark from 50 balls to move the score to 100-2.

On 88, Stokes was dropped by bowler Maddy as Muchall also passed the fifty mark.

Maddy finally got Muchall who had made 65 when he was caught by Clarke. In the same over, Stokes made his century.

Keith Barker was hit for 22 in the first over of the power play as Durham closed on 286-3 from their 40 overs.

Warwicks started their innings very well and were 100-0 in 11 overs. Will Porterfield made 80 before he was out to end an opening partnership of 144. Then Jim Troughton went for one leaving Warwicks 124 runs from 120 balls.

Varun Chopra was trapped lbw to Breese for 83 as The Bears moved on to 179-3 in 24 overs.

The two hundred came up in the 28th over with Maddy and Yousuf hitting 23 in an over to bring up the 250.

With four overs to go, Warwicks needed thirteen runs and Yousuf who was 74 not out and Darren Maddy who was 44 not out polished them off to give Warwicks a seven wicket victory.
