Warwickshire's Jon Trott top scored for England on the opening day of the first Ashes test against Australia at Trent Bridge.
Trott scored 48 and fellow Warwickshire player Ian Bell scored 25 as Siddle took 5-50 and England were all out for 215.
James Anderson and Steve Finn took two wickets each as Australia ended the day on 75-4.
