Trott Top Scores Again As England Win

England stayed in the ICC Cricket World Cup when a cracking throw from Jon Trott ran out the West Indies and gave England an eighteen run victory this afternoon in Chennai

England had been skittled out for 243 with Warwickshire Jon Trott again top scoring with 47 whilst Ian Bell made 27.

Russell made 49 for the West Indies and it was looking like they were close to getting the plane home.

However, Russell went to leave the score on 222-.7. Then a run later, Ian Bell caught Sarwan and two balls later, Swann had Roach caught by Tremlett.

Benn went for a run but a throw from Trott which went to Prior who whiped off the bails and England were winners by eighteen runs.
