Trott Fifty Helps England To Victory

Fifty four runs from Jon Trott and forty one from his Warwickshire team mate Ian Bell, helped England to a 15 run one day victory in the first One Day International between England and Australia.

England batted first and the scores from Trott and Bell plus forty from Cook were complimented by an unbeaten 89 from Eoin Morgan as England reached 272-5 in their fifty overs.

Anderson, Bresnan, Broad and Finn all picked up two wickets as the Aussies reached 257-9 from their fifty overs to give England a 15 run victory.
