Trott And Bell Play In England One Dayer Defeat

Warwickshire's Jon Trott and Ian Bell played for England in their one day international   against Sri Lanka at Headingly.

The tourists batted first and Mahela Jayawardene hit a superb 144 from 150 balls before he was stumped by Craig Kieswetter.

Former Warwicks batsman Kumar Sangakkara made 69 from 85 balls as Sri Lanka knocked up a score of 309-5 in their fifty overs.

When England batted, Jon Trott 39, Ian Bell 35 and only Eoin Morgan got over fifty (52) as England were all out for 240 runs and lost by 69 runs.
