Ten Wicket Win For Warwick Seconds

Warwickshire County Cricket Club Second Eleven beat Nottinghamshire by ten wickets today.

Notts won the toss and batted and made 311-9 before they declared on the opening day of this three day game.

That total was passed by Warwicks who were 359 all out thanks to a superb 163 from 211 balls by Ian Westwood.

Chris Metters took 6-97 and Ali Brown hit a century to see Notts all out for 311 leaving Warwicks just under two sessions to get 270 runs.

Westwood continued the form of his first innings with an unbeaten 138 and with Laurie Evans making an unbeaten 116, Warwicks Second Eleven took a ten wicket victory.
