Slow Going For Warwicks

Warwickshire County Cricket Club bowled out Lancashire on the second day of their County Championship game at Edgbaston.

Lancs resumed on 188-6 and had Glen Chappel and Tom Smith move the score on to 234 before Chappel was caught behind by Tim Ambrose to give Chris Wright a third wicket.

Kyle Hogg lasted seventeen balls, scoring three runs before Patal caught him off the bowling of Boyd Rankin who bowled Smith after he had made fifty.

With the score on 286, Patal had Kabar Ali caught by Sam Hain and Lancashire were all out.

Warwicks made eleven before Varun Chopra who had made nine of those eleven runs was caught by Agathangelou.

Ateeq Javid batted at number three but only added seven rund, so Laurie Evans came in and made twenty.

Sam Hain became the fourth Warwickshire player to lose his wicket when he was trapped lbw by Smith but at the other end, Will Porterfield was unbeaten on 51 as Warwicks closed on 130-4.
