Rohan Dennis Wins Eneco Tour Time Trial

BMC's Rohan Dennis has won the Eneco Tour time trial.

The time trial on the second stage of this race in Belgium and The Netherlands comprised of a 9.6km circuit around Breda.

BMC's Rohan Dennis who was amongst the favourites for this stage set an early time to beat by finishing in 10.48.

Tom Dumoulin had been fancied by many to win but he could only come home in 11.08, twelve seconds quicker than Team Sky's Geraint Thomas who posted a time of 11.20.

Tony Martin, who won the Tour Of Britain time trial and was another tipped for the win, finished in 11.08.57, whilst Ireland's Ryan Mullen finished in 11.20.

British champion Alex Dowsett of Movistar rode well to finish in 11.06.10 and Peter Sagan finished in 11.05 but no-one was able to get near Rohan Dennis' time and the BMC rider took the win.
