Warwickshire County Cricket Club all rounder Chris Woakes has signed a new two year deal with the County.
His contract extension take him up to the end of the 2016 season and Woakes told Edgbaston.com: “I’ve now been with Warwickshire for 13 years and am a proud Bear, so the opportunity to extend my contract was something that I was very keen to do.
“We’ve got a great set-up at Edgbaston, with fantastic supporters, facilities, coaching team and an incredibly strong Warwickshire squad that can compete for silverware in all competitions. We’re all working hard in pre-season training and are looking forward to the challenges of 2014.”
